Not on this list, and why that is the point
These providers publish no price and offer no way to start without a sales process. Several are excellent products. None of them is a sensible first call if you are a small company with a deal to run and no procurement function.
Before you sign
What should a small UK company pay for a data room?
Far less than the headline figures suggest. Providers on this page publish entry points from free to a few hundred pounds a month. The providers that refuse to publish a price are generally quoting for transactions an order of magnitude larger than an SME sale, which is why a quote-only vendor so often comes back with a number that seems absurd.
Is a free data room good enough for a real transaction?
For a fundraise or a small asset sale, often yes, provided the provider holds recognised certifications. The risk is not usually the free tier itself but the storage allowance: several providers include as little as 150MB or 500MB, and a genuine diligence set will push you up two tiers. Model your document volume before you choose.
What catches small buyers out?
Three things. Storage overage charged per megabyte, which turns a modest monthly fee into a large invoice. Overage billed on peak usage across a period, so trimming the room afterwards does not help. And per-user pricing on platforms not built for deals, which inverts badly the moment a bidder side of any size needs access.
