The assessment
Ansarada is an Australian deal platform founded in 2005 and headquartered in Sydney, with a London office at Bishopsgate and use across 170 countries. It is built around the idea of deal readiness rather than document storage, and its workflow tooling for adviser-led processes is among the strongest assessed here.
Commercially it sits in an unusual middle position. There is no published price list, but there is an interactive quote builder that produces a tailored figure immediately, which spares a buyer the demo cycle. Rooms are free until they go live or for 90 days from creation, whichever comes first, so preparation genuinely costs nothing.
Its UK data protection language is better than most non-UK vendors manage, naming the UK GDPR and its January 2021 commencement directly. What it does not offer is any choice of hosting region, so a UK residency requirement cannot be met. The commercial small print also deserves attention: overage bills at peak usage for the period, and reducing a room later does not reduce that charge.
A strong choice for an adviser-led UK process where deal workflow matters more than where the servers are, and the 90 day free preparation window is genuinely useful. Two things to model before signing. Overage is billed on peak usage across the period, so a room that spikes mid-diligence costs you for the spike even after you trim it. And if UK data residency is on your requirements list, Ansarada cannot meet it: there is no region choice at all.

Strengths
- Among the deepest deal workflow tooling here, built around deal readiness rather than storage
- An instant quote builder, which is genuinely more transparent than the demo gate most competitors use
- Free until the room goes live or 90 days after creation, so preparation costs nothing
- One of the clearest UK GDPR statements of any provider assessed, naming the UK regime and its commencement date
- ISO 27001 certified, which they state has been held for more than ten years
- A real London office at Bishopsgate
Limitations
- No choice of hosting region and no stated UK or EU data residency
- Quotes exclude GST, which signals an Australian-centric commercial setup for a UK buyer
- Overage is charged at peak usage across the billing period, and shrinking a room afterwards does not reduce that invoice
- Upgrades and downgrades are only possible at the end of a contracted term
- No Cyber Essentials and no SOC 2 attestation found
Pricing, hosting and certification
No static price list. An interactive quote builder produces a tailored quote immediately, which is more transparent than a demo gate but still not a published price. Quoted figures exclude GST. Upgrades and downgrades are only possible at the end of a contracted term, and overage is charged at peak usage for the billing period, so reducing the size of a room later does not reduce the overage invoice.
