The assessment
Imprima is a virtual data room and AI due diligence provider founded in 2001 and headquartered in Amsterdam, with a London office operated through Imprima iRooms Limited.
It is worth being precise about this, because a great many comparison sites are not. Imprima is routinely described as London-headquartered, and routinely credited with UK-soil data hosting. Its own company page gives Amsterdam as the headquarters with London as one of five offices, and its own security page states that all data, primary and backup, is stored in EU locations on Microsoft Azure. We found no UK hosting claim anywhere on Imprima's site.
On its merits it is a capable European provider with a long history and a genuinely deep AI toolset for diligence work, including smart indexing, automated summaries, review and redaction. Its ISO 27001 certification is scoped to the whole business rather than just its infrastructure, which is a stronger claim than several larger competitors make.
A solid European data room with unusually good AI diligence tooling, and a reasonable choice for a cross-border deal where EU hosting satisfies the requirement. Do not shortlist it because you read that it is a British provider hosting on UK soil. It is Amsterdam headquartered and hosts in the EU only, and post-Brexit those are two different propositions from the UK one. If a comparison site told you otherwise, that is a useful signal about the comparison site.

Imprima iRooms Limited, company number 09299215, active, at 2nd Floor, 168 Shoreditch High Street, London E1 6RA. This is one of five offices, not the headquarters.
Strengths
- A genuinely long track record, operating since 2001
- A deep AI due diligence suite covering smart indexing, summaries, review, redaction and translation
- ISO 27001 certification stated to cover the entire business rather than only the data centres, with half-yearly audits
- A white label data room offering for resellers
- Five offices across Europe and New York, including London
Limitations
- EU-only hosting with no UK option, which matters because since Brexit the UK is not in the EU
- No published pricing
- No Cyber Essentials, no ISO 27701 and no SOC 2
- The UK presence is a sales office, not the headquarters, despite what most comparison sites claim
